The Magic and Artistry of the Somatic Healer with Dr. Judy L. Scher
You are invited to apply for a potent and magical weekend in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. The territory is powerful and immense to work through the body to engage healing. Join other tonal based chiropractors in an exploration into who you are as a healer and how you express your gifts.
The body is both primal, nature based and energetically connected to the entirety of cosmic vibration. Whether you are new to somatic based healing work or a seasoned practitioner; deepening in the ability to practice the art of your technique and go beyond being the technician into the artist is a constantly evolving practice. There is no end point to that discovery.
The healer, whether bodyworker, chiropractor, or somatic therapist can draw from a huge lens of awareness; from what it means to support safety to allowing the range of what’s possible that supports awakening. Building skill sets that include an empowered self-reflective awareness is crucial to find freedom in your art and lead to direct application of your skills in an effortless way. This weekend will be dedicated to the tonal based chiropractor.
Some possible topics we will cover over the weekend:
For the chiropractic healer/artist:
Upgrading and practice of multi-senses: touch, sight, vibration, energy, sensing, feeling, tuning in, impressions
Touch isn't just pressure on the skin. Touch can convey both from the chiropractor and from the practice member a multitude of information. Having the ability to shift and expand your focus while engaging with touch, will give you a range of information about what is happening in the moment and energize the connection between you and the practice member.
Sight is both visible and part of the invisible spectrum. What do you SEE when you engage with a practice member. The chiropractor as healer can notice and access posture, imbalances, tone, muscle activity, angles, breathing patterns, organ placement or displacement, diaphragm movement, spinal movement or lack of, facial muscles, eye activity, shifts in holding, standing, sitting and much more.
Tuning in happens even before you put your hands on your practice member. It is noticing their tone of voice, their energy, excitement, hesitation, the words they use of don't use, if how they are describing how they feel is a mismatch to how their body is holding, breathing patterns, the way they use their eyes, head, arms, and feet while talking and/or sitting. Tuning in allows you to start perceiving a larger picture of the soul in front of you; seeing them from a larger perspective. It gives you the ability to engage more holistically. It's powerful to be able to observe what is happening to your own energy and feelings when you engage with them.

Tuition:
Newly graduated chiropractors (up to 2 years out of school): $395.paid in full or 2 payments of $225.
Chiropractors: $625 paid in full or 2 payments of $350.
Limited to small group size
In response to covid and traveling, it is requested you get a covid test within 3 days of the program, from a place of multiple perspectives, mindfulness and respect to the group as most will choose to not wear masks during the weekend.

Lodging available through Airbnb and other options
Airport: either Albuquerque or Santa Fe. Rental car necessary if coming from out of town
Santa Fe is 60 miles north of Albuquerque.

Dr. Scher will inform you of your acceptance.

Judy will work with an intimate group, those who are open, willing and ready to traverse into sacred territory. Cultivating a potent energetic field throughout the weekend, Judy will catalyze transformational change impacting at the soul level. With her unique method which embraces physical, emotional, and spiritual expressions of self in a fully embodied way, Judy will set the stage for rapid transformation for your most authentic expression of self. By supporting you to see yourself multi-dimensionally, Judy helps you discover and deepen your connection with your unique soul signature. By the end of the weekend, you will have more energy, alignment, presence and focus that will propel you toward the expression of your greatest destiny.
In a process that allows for safety, vulnerability, presence and authentic expression, Judy will be guiding personally one at a time to uncover and explore their true gifts and possible impediments to full expression. Her commitment is to connect with everyone so that by the end of the weekend everyone will deepen their connection with their true and natural self. This will be supported by exploration in smaller groups, connecting with nature, meditation processes, and her esoteric teaching on how optimize your spiritual energetic structures, and much more. The weekend will be powerful and yet nourishing for all. We will be having our healthy and delicious meals together and have time for personal processing.
